Welcome to Week 10!

CtK Open Night

Thank you to all the parents and families who attended our annual Open Night last night! The school was alive with energy as students showcased their work in classrooms. It was a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the wonderful things happening at Christ the King. We greatly appreciate your ongoing support, and a special thanks to our amazing P&F for organising the sausage sizzle, bake sale and Lego exhibition! Huge gratitude to our dedicated staff for their hard work in preparing the classrooms and for consistently going above and beyond for our students.

Edu-Dance and Boogie Woogie Wrap-Up

We had a fantastic time with the Edu-Dance and Boogie Woogie classes this term, culminating in a wonderful concert and final lesson that included parents and families. I’m sure you’ll all agree that the performances were outstanding, and every student truly gave their best!

Staff Profile

Our Year 6 Head Girl and Head Boy, Dominique and Christian will be interviewing our staff throughout the year so that we all can get to know each other well. This week they interviewed Mrs D’Angelo, our fabulous Art Teacher. To find out more about Mrs D’Angelo, please read below:

I like going to the beach, but just to walk and listen to music

I value my family and friends

If you had a million dollars what would you buy:
I would buy a massive property, I would fence it off and make a place for dogs that don’t have a home and I will give them a good life.

Pupil Free Day

Please make sure you have in your diary that Friday 20 September is a pupil free day. Please be aware that there will be no staff at school on this day.

P&F News

WOW! What an amazingly busy but fun few weeks we have all had! THANK YOU for all of your donations, help and support this term. We are incredibly lucky to have such an active and generous CTK community that help to make all of the fun things happen throughout the year. The P&F hope that you all have enjoyed the events of term 3, from the Fathers Day activities to Paint and Sip and they put smiles on a lot of big and little faces

The Staff & Parent Sundowner will be held next term on Friday 1^st November at The Left Bank, Fremantle. Tickets are now on sale and include Entry & Food for the night. There will be a bar for drink purchases and a DJ to play your favourite songs as we say goodbye to another fabulous year at CTK. On the night we will be drawing the winner of the Golden Raffle, which is an exclusive raffle with only 100 tickets available. The prize will be 1 of the 2 car bays at school which we all know is hot property at pick up and drop off time. A live auction for the last car bay will also happen on the night. As with many events this year, we have online now all of the raffle tickets including the normal raffle with great prizes up for grabs that you are able to pre purchase. Come and celebrate your end of year class social catch up with a pre planned party! There are limited entry tickets for this event so don’t miss out on a great night to catch up and dance the night away.

The first meeting of Term 4 will be held on Wednesday 16^th October (time to be confirmed closer) and this will be the last meeting of the year as the AGM is also held in Term 4. In this meeting we will focus on locking in the events of next year. If you would like to help us plan 2025 please come along and have your say.
