Welcome to Term 3 Week 10!
Loving God,
As we come to the end of Term 3, we give thanks for the many blessings of this term.
We thank You for the opportunities we have shared, the lessons we have learned, the friendships we have strengthened and the memories we have created together as a school community.
We give thanks especially for our students. For their enthusiasm, resilience, curiosity and joy. We are grateful for the many ways they have grown, learned and supported one another throughout the term.
We thank You for our dedicated teachers and staff, for their patience, care and commitment, and for all that they do each day to nurture and inspire our students.
We pray for our families as we begin the school holidays. May this be a time of rest, renewal and happiness. Keep our children safe as they enjoy time with family and friends, and help us all to slow down, appreciate the simple blessings around us and make precious memories together.
May the holidays bring renewed energy to our hearts and minds, and may we return for Term 4 refreshed, grateful and ready for all that lies ahead.
Lord, watch over our Christ the King School community during these holidays.
May we continue to place Christ at the centre of all that we do and carry His love, kindness and compassion with us wherever we go.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on all that has been achieved across our Christ the King School community.
Term 3 has certainly been filled with learning, growth, opportunities and many wonderful moments for our students. I am incredibly proud of the way our students have embraced the many experiences and challenges presented to them throughout the term. Their enthusiasm, resilience and willingness to have a go continue to make our school community such a special place.
A very special congratulations to our Year 6 students following their recent camp. What an amazing experience it was for our students! Our Year 6 students represented Christ the King with maturity, enthusiasm, resilience and care for one another. It was wonderful to hear how they challenged themselves, supported their friends and created memories that they will treasure for many years to come. We are incredibly proud of every one of them.
I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation and thanks to our wonderful staff who supported and attended the Year 6 Camp. Staff who attended camp included Mr Kelly, Miss Mickel, Miss de Laeter, Mrs Gibson, Mrs Viti, Mr May and Mr Martelli. Taking students away on camp requires an enormous amount of preparation, organisation, time and commitment, and we are so grateful for the care and dedication shown to our students throughout the experience. Thank you staff for helping to make the camp such a memorable and successful experience for our Year 6 students.
To all our parents and carers, thank you for your continued support throughout Term 3. Your partnership with our school is so important, and we are grateful for the encouragement you provide to your children and for your ongoing support of our staff and school community.
As we head into the school holidays, I hope all our families have the opportunity to rest, recharge and enjoy some quality time together. Thank you for another wonderful term at Christ the King School.
Grandparents Day 2026
A gentle reminder that Grandparents Day will not be held at Christ the King School this year due to the ongoing roofing works. We look forward to welcoming our grandparents back to school for future celebrations. Thank you for your understanding.

2027 Student Intentions
Families of students currently in Kindy to Year 5 are asked to advise the Principal in writing, if they are not intending to return to Christ the King School, in 2027.
Providing this information as early as possible assists the school with future planning, staffing, and class organisation. Families are asked to provide at least one term’s notice, where possible. Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we begin another wonderful term at Christ the King School.
