Edu-Dance & Boogie Woogie Wrap-Up
Our Edu-Dance and Boogie Woogie programs wrapped up with a fabulous concert and a final family lesson. The performances were outstanding, and every student shone on stage. It was a joy to watch their energy, confidence, and enthusiasm!

Pupil Free Day
A reminder that this Friday 26 September, is a Pupil Free Day. There will be no staff on site, so please mark this in your calendars.
On behalf of all the staff, thank you for your continued support throughout Term Three. We wish you and your families a safe, restful holiday break and look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for an exciting Term Four! Term Four begins for students on Tuesday 14 October.
Blessing of the Fleet Procession
The Blessing of the Fleet will take place on Sunday 26 October, leaving from St Patrick’s Church in Fremantle. Children are invited to participate in the procession by wearing traditional costumes or, if they made their First Holy Communion this year, wearing their Communion outfits again. Last year, some students proudly represented our school by wearing their uniform and carrying the school flag, and we would love to see this continue. A Message from our School Nurse – Ms Andrea Mangan
Holiday Time – A Chance to Learn Together
As we head into the school holidays, it’s a wonderful opportunity for families to slow down and spend quality time together. Alongside the fun and relaxation, holidays can also be the perfect time to help children build new life skills that they may not have the chance to practise during the busy school term.
Simple skills not only help children become more independent, but they also build patience, resilience, and confidence. Most importantly, when parents take the time to teach and practise these skills with their children, it creates meaningful moments and lasting memories.
Here are a few ideas you might like to try together over the break:
- Learning to tie shoelaces: helps with fine motor coordination, problem-solving, and persistence.
- Blowing their noses: teaching them to blow their noses to promote independence but also good hygiene skills.
- Helping in the kitchen: from making a sandwich to measuring ingredients, these skills build independence and healthy habits.
- Packing their own bag: encourages children to take responsibility, plan, and think ahead.
Healthy Habits to Continue
Alongside building life skills, it’s also important to continue healthy habits over the holidays. Please encourage your children to drink plenty of water, practise good hygiene (handwashing especially), and stay at home if they are unwell to help stop the spread of illness in the community.
No matter how small the skill or habit, your encouragement and guidance make all the difference. Even just a few minutes each day practising together can help your child feel proud of what they can achieve.

Messages from the P&F President – Mrs Suraya Correia
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and skills on Open Night — whether it was setting up, cooking sausages, serving our school, or baking delicious items for the bake sale. We could not have done it without you! Thank you also to our wonderful school community for supporting us and helping raise valuable funds. It was such a successful night thanks to you all.

We are still in need of a few more parent/carer volunteers to help:
✨ Set up after school on Thursday afternoon (after 3pm)
☕ Serve tea/coffee on Friday morning (from 9am)
At the moment, we only have one volunteer – more hands will make light work and ensure the morning is extra special for our grandparents.

🎶 Musical Bingo Night – Saturday 8 November
We have just a few tables left for our Musical Bingo Night at South Fremantle Football Club. Gather your friends and make it your end-of-year parent catch-up! It promises to be a great night out with plenty of laughs and some fantastic prizes to be won.
