Welcome back to school.
Term 2 is already off to a wonderful start, and it has been lovely to see our students and staff return refreshed, energised, and ready for the busy 11-week term ahead. This term promises to be filled with meaningful learning experiences and a range of exciting events. Highlights include our Mother’s Day celebrations, the school cross country, Confirmation and First Holy Communion, as well as the distribution of reports at the end of the term. I am looking forward to a busy and successful term ahead.
A special thank you to the team at Viva Developments
During the school holidays, the Year 1 outdoor area was beautifully transformed by Miss Letizia’s family business, Viva Developments. Their generous team created cubby houses, mud kitchens, and a herb garden, turning the space into an engaging and enjoyable environment for learning. We are incredibly grateful for their time, effort, and generosity.
School drop off and pick times
A gentle reminder to please be patient and considerate during drop-off and pick-up times. By showing kindness and patience, we can ensure everyone arrives and leaves safely each day. Please also note that the Early Childhood car park is reserved for families from Pre-Kindy to Pre-Primary only, and we ask that all families are mindful and respectful of our neighbours when parking. Please avoid parking in or across driveways and on verges, even for a brief period. Our neighbours always require clear access to their properties, and we appreciate your help in maintaining a positive relationship within our community. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting us in keeping our school a respectful and considerate environment for everyone.

Year 3 Reconciliation Parent & Child Workshop
On Wednesday 22 April, our Year 3 students and their parents attended an engaging and interactive Reconciliation Workshop. The session provided valuable opportunities to explore the meaning of forgiveness and discuss how to navigate different situations in a thoughtful and respectful way.
This experience supported the children in preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, a special gift from Jesus that offers forgiveness and helps restore our relationship with God and others. Mario Borg from 24:7 Ministry guided both students and parents through the importance of this Sacrament in a way that was meaningful, practical, and easy to relate to. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Year 3 teachers for their ongoing support and care.
Please keep our Year 3 students in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation over the next few weeks.
School Photos
School photos are scheduled for Tuesday 19 May and Wednesday 20 May.
Students in Years 1–6 are required to wear their formal school uniform on their photo day. Kindy and Pre-Primary students should wear their usual sports uniform.
Please note that Pre-Kindy photos and Year 6 Graduation photos will take place later in Term 3. Further information about school photos will be shared shortly.
Project Compassion
Thank you to everyone who contributed so generously to Project Compassion. Your support is deeply appreciated and makes a meaningful difference. We raised $735.80, as a school. Thank you!
Unwell students
As we move into the colder months, we kindly ask that unwell students are kept at home. If a child becomes unwell during the school day or presents symptoms of illness, our staff and school nurse will contact parents to arrange for them to go home. Sending sick children to school can affect the health and wellbeing of other students, staff, and their families. We greatly appreciate your understanding and support in helping us maintain a healthy school environment. For further guidance on how long children should stay home when sick, please refer to the recommendations on the WA Health website: https://www.health.wa.gov.au
Pupil Free Day & Public Holiday
Please note that Friday 29 May (Week 6) is a Pupil Free Day. While students have the day off, staff will be engaged in a full day of Professional Learning. Monday 1 June (Week 7) is a Public Holiday in Western Australia. Students will return to school on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.

Welcome back to Term 2! We hope all families had a relaxing and enjoyable school holiday break.
A big thank you to everyone who supported our Easter activities at the end of last term. From the colouring competition and guessing jar to the Easter raffle, it was wonderful to see so many students getting involved. Congratulations again to all our winners!
Term 2 is shaping up to be a bust one for our school community. We are looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day on Friday 8th May with mums starting the morning visiting their children’s classrooms followed by our much-loved Mother’s Day morning tea in the hall.
We also have a number of fun and meaningful fundraisers and events coming up, including Purple Day for Epilepsy WA and our Tommy Sugo Pasta Drive.
We are busy preparing for our School Disco in June which is always a highlight on the school calendar and a fantastic night for the kids. Keep an eye out for further information in the coming weeks.
Our next P&F Meeting will be held on Wednesday 13th May at 5pm in the school library and we warmly invite all parents and caregivers to attend. It’s a great way to stay informed, share ideas, and get involved in supporting our school community.
As always, we encourage anyone interested in getting involved – whether helping at events, volunteering, or sharing ideas. We are currently requesting anyone who would like to get involved in helping put together the school disco to please be in touch. We have a lead for the event but just need some extra hands help to make the event “Winter Wonderful”. To volunteer for this or any other event please visit the P&F Hub for updates and opportunities.
